PASADENA, Calif. —Physicist Stephen Hawking will present a public lecture at 8 p.m. on Friday, October 3 in Beckman Auditorium at the California Institute of Technology. The lecture titled "Gödel and the End of Physics" is open to the public; free tickets are required. Tickets will be distributed (maximum of two per person) at 9 a.m. the same day at Beckman Auditorium (not at the Caltech Ticket Office).
The tickets will become void at 7:45 p.m., to allow any remaining spaces to be filled.
Those who do not have tickets may come that evening to wait for available space or to be redirected to an overflow facility. The audio portion of the talk will be broadcast outside Beckman Auditorium for those unable to obtain seats.
Beckman Auditorium is located at 332 South Michigan Avenue in Pasadena.
