The free presentation is the third in the quarterly Congressional Science Scholar Forums presented by Congressman Adam B. Schiff in conjunction with Caltech. It is open to teachers and students focusing on math and science in local high schools, Glendale Community College, and Pasadena City College.
The forum is intended to give students the chance to learn about opportunities in math and science from the personalized view of a Caltech researcher. Series topics span physics, biology, chemistry, and math.
Limited parking is available along the perimeter of campus (Del Mar Boulevard and Hill Avenue). For parking in the structures on Holliston and Wilson avenues, a limited supply of visitor parking permits is available on a first-come, first-served basis through Congressman Schiff's office. Attendees are encouraged to carpool.
For more information, call Paul Kidwell in Congressman Schiff's office at (626) 304-2727, or Elizabeth Krider in Caltech's Government and Community Relations Office at (626) 395-8179.
