As a Caltech Associate, you and your spouse or partner will be part of an organization whose members share a rich history as patrons of science. You will be invited to exclusive social events to interact with leading researchers and engineers working on the most intriguing challenges of the day. Access unique amenities

In addition to unique social and travel occasions, Caltech Associates members are afforded special courtesies, including the option to become a member of organizations typically reserved for Caltech faculty and staff.

These include eligibility to join The Athenaeum, the Institute's storied private club, which confers reciprocal admission to a collection of other premier clubs worldwide. Caltech Associates may also join the Caltech Employees Federal Credit Union for exceptional financial services and the Braun Athletic Center offering over 3,500 square feet of weight and cardiovascular equipment, swimming pools, tennis and racquetball courts, and even a climbing wall—all priced well below typical fitness center fees.
