An Evening to Remember for President’s Circle Members of the Caltech Associates

Pasadena, Calif.—California Institute of Technology (Caltech) president Jean-Lou Chameau and his wife, Dr. Carol Carmichael, welcomed more than 160 guests to the Caltech Associates President’s Circle garden party at their home Saturday, September 26. This special event recognized members of the President’s Circle for their support of Caltech.

The lovely garden – strung with lights – was a perfect setting. Dinner and wine were provided by the Athenaeum. Music by a Caltech jazz band greeted guests during the reception and played during dinner. In all, the evening was an elegant affair for all those in attendance.

The Associates President’s Circle is a group of individuals whose level of support for Caltech enables them to participate in activities like the garden party, foreign and domestic travel with Caltech faculty, and behind-the-scenes tours of Caltech laboratories.
