The mission of the Associates is to advance Caltech through unrestricted financial contributions. These gifts support the Institute’s mission to expand human knowledge and benefit society through research integrated with education. All gifts of cash and appreciated securities are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Corporate matching gifts are accepted. Contributions to the Associates are credited to the Alumni Fund when donors are graduates of Caltech.

Membership levels are as follows:

Associates Level: Annual unrestricted contribution of $3,000
($1,250 for those under age 40)

Provost’s Circle: Annual contribution of $5,000
($3,000 must be unrestricted)

President’s Circle: Annual contribution of $10,000
($3,000 must be unrestricted)

Note: Contribution minimums are subject to change with advance notice.

Members who join at the Associates level receive the following privileges:

• Invitations to programs and events that feature Caltech faculty, including luncheons, dinners, field trips, off-campus events, and regional events held in Northern California, West L.A., and the East Coast
• VIP seating for two at the Watson Lecture series and specific public events at Beckman Auditorium
• Eligibility to join Caltech’s Athletic Facilities and Recreation Programs, Caltech Employees Federal Credit Union and the Athenaeum - Caltech’s private membership club
• Access to Caltech Library Services
• 15% discount at the Caltech Bookstore (excludes textbooks, photo processing, and tickets)

Members of the Provost’s Circle enjoy all of the privileges offered at the Associates level, as well as additional benefits:

• Invitations to annual Provost’s Circle events
• Opportunities to participate in President’s Circle educational travel, as space permits

Members of the Associates President’s Circle receive all the benefits offered at the Associates and Provost’s Circle levels plus several more privileges:

• Exclusive dinner lectures with Caltech faculty speakers
• Educational travel opportunities led by Caltech faculty to both domestic and international destinations
• Invitations to the annual President’s Circle Garden Party held at the home of Caltech’s president
• Two additional tickets for VIP seating at the Watson Lecture series and specific public events at Beckman Auditorium
• Access to the VIP lounge during specific ticketed Beckman Auditorium events
